Privacy policy

This page explains what happens to your information when you use ameoworks.com or get in touch with us. It is written to be read, not skimmed past.

Who we are

Ameoworks (“we”, “us”) runs this website. You can reach us at hello@ameoworks.com.

What this website collects

Very little. The site has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party tracking scripts. Fonts and images are served from our own server, so your browser does not contact other companies when you read our pages.

It also stores nothing in your browser: no cookies and no saved preferences. See our cookie page for the detail.

When you contact us

The contact form on this site does not send anything to a server. When you press the button, it opens your own email app with a message addressed to us. Nothing is sent until you press send there.

If you send us a message, we receive what you chose to write: usually your name and email address, and perhaps your company, job title, project type, budget range, timeline and message. We use it to reply to you, to judge whether we can help, and to keep ordinary records of our business correspondence.

Server records

Like most websites, the server that delivers our pages may keep standard technical records, such as the time of a request, the page asked for, your IP address and your browser type. We use them to keep the site secure and to find faults, not to profile visitors.

Who else sees it

We do not sell your information. Companies that host our website and handle our email process data for us as part of providing those services. We do not share your enquiry with anyone else unless you ask us to, or the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep an enquiry for as long as we need it to deal with your request and to keep ordinary business records, and then we delete it. If you would like it deleted sooner, ask us.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, laws such as the GDPR, the UK GDPR or India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act give you rights over your information. In plain terms, you can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we use it. Write to hello@ameoworks.com and we will answer. If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to the data protection authority in your country.

Children

This website is for businesses and is not aimed at children.

Changes to this page

If we change what the site collects, for example by adding analytics, we will update this page and its date before the change goes live.
