Careful with data, clear about decisions
Healthcare & Life Sciences
Clinical, administrative and patient-facing software handles some of the most sensitive data there is. We help modernise ageing systems and add automation and AI with privacy, traceability and human review built in.
Problems we help with
- Records and workflows spread across disconnected systems
- Paperwork and documents that staff retype by hand
- Legacy systems that are hard to connect to new tools
- AI pilots that cannot show where an answer came from
- Patient and member apps that must be simple and always available
What to plan for
- Strict control over who can see which data, and a record of who did
- Consent, retention and deletion rules
- Regulation such as HIPAA or GDPR, depending on the market, to be confirmed with your compliance team
- Human review for anything that affects care
- High availability for systems people depend on
This is a list of things to design for, not a statement of compliance. Your own compliance team decides what applies to you.
How we help
- Enterprise ModernisationReplace or wrap legacy systems step by step, with data migration checked at every stage.
- AI EngineeringDocument intake and assistants that cite their sources, with a person approving the result.
- Cloud & Platform EngineeringEnvironments with strong access control, monitoring and tested recovery.
- Digital Product EngineeringPatient and staff apps built on a clear API contract.
What a first assessment looks at
- 01Where patient or member data lives, and who can see it
- 02How systems exchange information, and where staff re-enter data
- 03Which workflows could be automated, with a person still approving
- 04How consent, retention and deletion are handled today
- 05How the system behaves when it is unavailable
Questions
Do you handle patient data?
We design so that as few people and systems as possible need to see it, and we work inside your environment and rules. We do not take on your compliance duties.
Can AI be used safely here?
With care: sources shown, a person approving anything that affects care, tests for quality, and a record of each decision.
Which regulations do you follow?
The ones your compliance team confirms apply, such as HIPAA or GDPR. We ask early, and we do not certify systems.
What we can show today
We have not built healthcare software for a client, and we say so. What we can show is the engineering behind it in our own product: members control who sees their data, deleting an account starts a grace period and then purges it everywhere, and sensitive values such as codes and passwords never reach the logs.
